Festo is a German engineering company in industrial automation. The company employs 20100 persons worldwide and has a turn-over of 3.1 billlion euro (2018). It is serving 300.000 customers in 176 countries.

Festo is present iin Sofia (Bulgaria) since the year 2015.  It is investing 25.6 million euro in expanding manufacturing facilities in Sofia for the production of ‘stepper and servo electric motors’.  Currently there arre 1000 persons employed in Sofia and this will rise to 2000.
